We will be performing this maintenance between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00am MST on 08/14/2012 (Tuesday).

During this time, we will be making routing changes to our core routers in the Backend network as the final step toward completing our Network Stabilization project. While the upgrade is occurring, a network disruption is anticipated. However, it should be no longer than 1 hour and will not impact Internet facing traffic. If you notice any prolonged disruptions, please contact our technical support department.

There is an emergency network maintenance that will take place tonight July 17, 2012 from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. MST. During this three hour maintenance window we will perform a software upgrade to one of our aggregation switches, as it has been identified to cause potential problems. Please note that this is part of a redundant pair and the maintenance will only affect one of these switches. During the maintenance the switch will be upgraded and reloaded to activate the new code version. We will gracefully shift all the traffic to the secondary uplink in order to prevent any connectivity problems. We don’t anticipate any connectivity impact, but if you notice any issues during the upgrade please feel free to contact our support team.

As part of our ongoing investigation into the events on Wednesday 7/11/2012, our onsite engineering team has recommended an upgrade to our core routing platform. This maintenance will be performed on 7/17/2012 and 7/18/2012 between the hours of 4-6 AM EST. During this period, there will be approximately 15 minutes of downtime each night while we perform major code upgrades as well as replacing some failed hardware.

We apologize for the short notice but in order to provide the best possible experience for our customers, it is imperative that this be done as soon as possible.
